Best Vinyl Record – NOW Country Classics: 90’s Dance Party Review

Okay, here is a short excerpt for the blog post:

We’re putting our own two cents in on one of our recent discoveries: the NOW Country Classics: 90’s Dance Party [Lemon & Spring Green 2 LP]. As we often seek out records that evoke nostalgia and provide a good time, this double LP certainly caught our attention with its vibrant presentation and its clear nod to the fun, energetic country music that was dominating dance floors back in the ’90s.

Unpacking the physical copies was already a treat, given the bright Lemon and Spring Green vinyl splashed against dark green jackets – a visually appealing package that feels appropriately festive for the content inside. Laying the heavyweight vinyl down, the pressings look and feel substantial.

We spent some time spinning through track after track included, like Billy Ray Cyrus’ ‘Friends’ and Shenandoah’s ‘Maybe It Was LA’. Throughout these selections, we found the production generally crisp and engaging, successfully evoking the feel of those anthems played late into the night. While we’re just scratching the surface, the selection appears vibrant and focused on the upbeat, unapologetic country that defined that era’s dance scene. It’s certainly a strong contender for best vinyl record when seeking an energetic Country Classics journey.
